The Role:
Oxfam is looking for A senior finance officer grant/contract is responsible for supervising the Addis-based contracts, ensuring the legitimacy of the expenditure incurred in Addis Ababa, field offices, and assisting budget holders in ensuring expenditures are within the approved budget. To provide an efficient, relevant, timely grant management service to program managers, budget holders, and external donors. This includes budget, government reports internal BVA at a level of detail necessary to manage budgets effectively, external donor reports per formats and timeliness set contractually, and ensuring allocation of cost policies are complied with

Essential
- Degree in Accounting or MA in Finance that can bring added value to the post from a recognized university/college.
- Relevant experience of 5+ years in a finance role, preferably in an international NGO.
- Experience in project financial management, reporting, and partner management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity to cultural differences, and ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts
- Good command of computing skills (MS Word, MS Excel) and other Internal software system.
- Knowledge of and Eager to learn various accounting software with special emphasis on the Oxfam financial management system
- Good spoken and written English and Amharic.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptive to changing working requirements
