We are in search of Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis area (FP & A) to be a part of remote team. This role will play a pivotal part in financial planning and analysis processes, driving budgeting activities, financial modelling, and strategic planning initiatives. The individual in this role will provide valuable insights through their expertise in financial modelling and data analysis, supporting decision-making across diverse functions of our organization. Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and lead annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. • Construct and sustain complex financial models to assess business scenarios, analyze financial outcomes, and bolster decision-making processes. • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals. • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs), financial trends, and variances against budgets. • Utilize data analysis tools to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets, working together with cross-functional teams to gather data and generate insights that drive financial planning and analysis. • Collaborate with various departments, including operations, sales, and engineering, to understand their financial needs and provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities. • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve the overall efficiency of the finance function. • Effectively communicate the financial and strategic rationale behind various initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and time-sensitive environment. • Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficient in Budget Processes, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), and Budgeting – Forecasting. • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and Quantitative Data Analysis is essential. • Must have a solid understanding of Accounting procedures. • Should possess excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. • A professional certification such as CPA, CFA or MBA is desirable. • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment. • High attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this role. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. • Knowledge of current financial legislation and regulations is required. • Should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions. This is a remote role that requires someone in the Eastern time zone. it does involve travel a couple of times per year. This is a new role in an expanding company in the Crypto and Blockchain space.
