1. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
2. 6+ years of professional experience with building APIs using Node.js
3. Excellent knowledge of REST API standards and web services
4. Experience in AWS and services like SQS, SNS, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, RDS, Elastic Cache, etc.
5. Experience building, scaling, and performance-tuning REST APIs
6. Building distributed asynchronous systems
7. Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving issues
8. Experience building and maintaining a large-scale production system
9. Experience in building UI with React
