Senior Full Stack Developer

ABOUT THIS POSITION
Our client has an instance of Netbox to maintain and document their inventory. The team helps to maintain, build, and improve this tool.

As a developer in the Product and Technology team, you will be responsible for creating high quality applications. You will also coordinate supporting teams and program managers to develop a user experience that translates into professional, usable tools and reports. They are currently working on expanding standard features through plugins and enriching data sets from external sources. Our client is looking for someone to help build new and improve its existing features and functions by applying their backend knowledge, user-and interface expertise.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and develop high quality software programs.
• Document, test, and provide error resolutions.
• Analyse and resolve errors in the application.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications.
• Prepare detailed guide to end-users.
• Collaborate with others to design effective programs.
• Maintain good standards of security and data protection.

Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Python and the Django framework.
• Experience working with internal and third-party RESTful APIs
• Ability to write clean, scalable/modular code.
• Solid knowledge of using source control / GIT.
• Basic knowledge of Docker containers, builds in Jenkins and deployments to Kubernetes.
• Good attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Resilience and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of technologies and constant willingness to learn.
• Communicate in good verbal and written English.
