Role: The Senior Full-Stack Developer (React) reports to the Manager, Product Development and works closely with 10 members of the team which includes developers, QAs, PO, DevOps and infrastructure team. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various features and components of our web-based application. While the focus will be on front-end development (React), the candidate will also contribute to back-end development when needed (Kotlin).Equisoft/centralize is a powerful back-office insurance agency management system that offers our clients a way to connect carriers’ feeds, paramedical data, clients, policies, and more to a single platform. Our workbench solution helps our customers work smarter, provides unique insights, and makes it possible to automate their business processes.Your Day with Equisoft:

• Design and develop complex user interfaces using React to create responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing web applications.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate the wireframes and mockups into functional frontend components.

• Build and implement scalable backend solutions, leveraging technologies like Node.js or Python to support our growing web-based applications.

• Design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL API Gateway for seamless integration of multiple microservices.

• Work closely with the product owner and product stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and translate them into actionable technical tasks.

• Participate actively in agile/scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and refinement sessions.

• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.

• Collaborate with DevOps specialists to optimize deployment processes, implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems.

• Champion innovation and collaboration within the team, leading by example through exemplary coding practices, communication skills, and a collaborative attitude.

• Demonstrate completed work during sprint reviews, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and incorporating it into future iterations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:Technical

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience.

• 7 years of experience in a similar role with 10 years of experience in software development

• Extensive experience in front-end development using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, with focus on modern frontend development practices and framework.

• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, (Kotlin or Java), Git, SQL for backend integration

• Solid understanding of backend development concepts and experience with server-side technologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in both backend and frontend systems.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize activities effectively.

• Passion for learning and staying updated on the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in web development.

• Excellent knowledge of French & English (spoken and written)
