We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead key human resources initiatives and support our team in a unionized environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to play a strategic role in labor relations, employee development, and HR policy implementation while fostering a collaborative workplace culture.Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior HR Manager will:Lead HR Strategy & Development:
– Oversee the design, development, and implementation of HR programs and policies.
– Drive initiatives that enhance workplace climate, employee engagement, and organizational values.Manage Labor Relations:
– Serve as a trusted advisor to management on interpreting HR policies, collective agreements, and labor laws.
– Negotiate collective agreement renewals, handle grievances, and oversee arbitration cases.
– Chair labor relations and health and safety committees, ensuring effective follow-up on decisions.Foster Employee Development:
– Assess training needs, create annual training plans, and manage training budgets.
– Promote skill development and succession planning.Handle HR Operations:
– Conduct workplace investigations and oversee disciplinary and administrative actions.
– Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws and regulations.Support Organizational Growth:
– Embed organizational values into day-to-day operations through activities and programs.What We’re Looking For– A university degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent.
– Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in a unionized environment.
– Membership in the Ordre des CRHA (must).
– Strong knowledge of Quebec labor laws and unionized workplace practices.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
– Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.What We Offer– Competitive Salary: Up to $90,000 based on experience.
