Senior Imaging Scientist, MR Physics, Neuroimaging, diffusion MRI, Sponsorship available, COR7006The RoleThis is an excellent Senior Imaging Scientist role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. The Senior Imaging Scientist will use knowledge gained from a PhD in a relevant field such as MR Physics, Neuroimaging or similar, as well as a sound understanding of diffusion MRI to refine and prioritise ideas from research, to lead on new developments in my client’s models and tools.The CompanyThe Senior Imaging Scientist will join a leader in their field and an Oxford-university spinout, this company are paving the way in the diagnosis of neurological disease. What’s Required?The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:
- A PhD in a relevant field such a MR Physics, Neuroimaging or similar
- A good understanding of diffusion MRI.
- Experience of statistical software packages such as SPSS, Stata or R
- Experience with neuroimaging and corresponding packages such as FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer
- Any experience with Microstructural modelling for diffusion MRI, experience in the area of cerebral cortex or Post-mortem MRI / MRI of animal models would also be advantageous
