Senior Lecturer in Academic DevelopmentWe are seeking an experienced academic developer to play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape at Manchester Met. This position requires a professional with a strong history of developing and executing strategies to improve teaching practices. The ideal candidate will be experienced in promoting academic excellence through the leadership of professional development opportunities such as the Professional Standards Framework (2023) and HE teaching qualifications and professional development workshops. With a focus on enhancing pedagogic practice, the Academic Developer will lead initiatives that support educators in delivering high-quality learning experiences. This role is about inspiring change and driving innovation in academic development. The successful applicant will be central in delivering on Manchester Met’s Education strategy, will teach on our PGCert and/or MA in Higher Education, support our AdvanceHE Professional Standards recognition scheme and will work with academics, course teams, faculty education leads and a range of other stakeholders to support the development of academic practice at Manchester Met.
