This is an exciting time to join us as the provision of computing courses is growing rapidly. We offer an expanding range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which are increasingly popular.We are looking to appoint at Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor level.The roles involve planning, organisation and delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will develop and use a variety of methods for teaching and assessment and provide support and feedback that is timely, relevant and appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in high-quality research in the subject area and contribute to publishing the findings in internationally recognised journals.The candidateWe are seeking candidates of high calibre, with the interest, enthusiasm and experience to contribute to the development of our computing courses. You will have a PhD in Computer Science or related field or possess substantial industrial experience. You will be expected to teach Cyber Security at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and deliver bespoke Cyber Security training programmes. You should be familiar with various certifications, industry practices and future developments in the subject area to ensure our graduates are informed, well prepared and ready to join the industry.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to acquire new ideas and skills, possess excellent people skills and experience of working in a diverse Higher Education environment. You will bring technical plus pedagogical expertise in relation to learning solutions which support the delivery of the curriculum across the required courses. You will have very good inter-personal skills, highly developed communication and organisational skills and a capability to motivate students.The candidates will also be expected to take on other team leadership responsibilities in areas, such as, curriculum development, course leadership, engagement with partner organisations and recruitment activities.Further details:We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities, and in particular those that are currently under-represented in our workforce.
