Working with the people of Liverpool to improve lives and support communities is at the heart of why we were founded and why we exist today.The Journalism Department at Liverpool John Moores University is seeking a talented broadcast journalism lecturer to join our team.Based in the heart of a city full of news, sport and culture to report upon, we deliver NCTJ-accredited courses in journalism and sports journalism at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our BA Journalism is also BJTC accredited, and we pride ourselves in developing multimedia journalists who are ready for success in all parts of the industry.We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Broadcast Journalism.The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the working practices, skills and technology relevant to the contemporary UK broadcast journalism industry. They will have a PhD or postgraduate qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent professional experience.
