The NCCA is based in the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a global reputation for combining research and teaching practice. Students within the department have access to our industry-standard facilities including a 200msq soundstage studio, green screen studio, virtual production facilities and computer labs equipped with professional production software.As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Compositing you will be teaching and supervising students of Visual Effects and Computer Animation, with particular emphasis on 2D workflows and compositing. Expertise in VFX acquisition is both desirable and complementary, but not essential. Demonstrable experience with Foundry Nuke is highly desirable, but comparable experience in alternative node-based compositing software will be considered.Whilst previous teaching or training experience is desirable, it is more important to be enthusiastic about student-centered learning experience. You will contribute to education delivery, including programme leadership roles as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
