CHS129Are you passionate about delivering inspiring teaching and an exceptional student experience? Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in Geospatial Health & Wellbeing? We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to join our new and exciting Institute.The University of Lincoln is setting up the Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH). The project has attracted significant start-up funding from UKRI to support research talent and innovation pathways in the region, as well as creating future leaders by involving a new generation of researchers in co-designing and shaping this emerging discipline.This is a new Institute with funding being provided for over twenty academic positions (professor through to research assistant) as well as technical and professional staff. It is intended that beyond an initial five-year pump-prime phase the Institute will be self-sustained by external research funding.You will contribute to and support high-quality research across the Institute’s activities. You will make a significant contribution to advance the field of coastal and rural health by investigating links between natural and built environments and health, with a focus on mental health. More generally you will make significant contribution to advancing the field of environment and health/wellbeing in varying geographical contexts in Lincolnshire and the wider UK.In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln.
