Senior Lecturer in Politics

Politics and International Relations at Leeds Beckett University is a vibrant and research active group, with a range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We are currently inviting applications for an inspiring and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer in Politics. The successful candidate should have extensive experience of undertaking research and providing inspiring, high-quality teaching in Politics. Candidates who have specialisms in British Politics and quantitative methods, and who have experience of developing employability within a Politics curriculum are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have a PhD in Politics, a strong research profile that complements the existing research strengths of the Politics and International Relations Group (see additional information), preferably including having secured external research funding. Candidates should also have experience of supervising student projects at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, of providing high levels of student support, and should be able to evidence of their commitment to providing a high-quality student experience.
