Working with the people of Liverpool to improve lives and support communities is at the heart of why we were founded and why we exist today.The School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, now seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer or Senior Teaching Fellow in Building Surveying. The key responsibilities of this position revolve around delivering comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate education in the realms of Building Surveying and the broader Property discipline. Ideally, you will exhibit a robust background in either Dilapidations Building Pathology and/or Sustainable Technologies.In addition to you teaching commitments, you will be encouraged to participate in research endeavours and make substantial contributions to the academic pursuits of the School. Furthermore, you will have active involvement in the development and execution of outreach programs, engagement initiatives, and collaborative interdisciplinary projects.You should be a seasoned commercial Chartered Surveyor with proven hands-on experience within the UK property market. Additionally, you should hold chartered membership with a relevant professional body, such as the RICS.
