Position: Senior Manager, Mortgage Administration and Legal OperationsType: OnsiteLocation: Waterloo, OntarioIndustry: Real Estate / Financial ServicesThe Company and The RoleA well-established real estate brokerage and financial services firm is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Mortgage Administration, and Legal Operations. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for managing the documentation of large-scale real estate project financing transactions. You will utilize your extensive experience in mortgage administration, compliance, loan monitoring and funding while leading a small but strong team of legal analysts. You will work closely with external counsel in the preparation, negotiation, execution and processing of all documentation as required.What makes you a fit:
- Experience in any of these areas like mortgage administration, commercial lending, banking, real estate law, or real estate underwriting would be ideal.
- Strong understanding of the legal framework and regulatory requirements within real estate financing.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to coach, mentor and guide a team.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborates well with a high engaged team.
- Experienced in concisely presenting complex information to senior leaders as well as financing partners/ investors.
- Completion of Paralegal or Law Clerk Education
