The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the goals, plans, governance and execution of strategic initiatives in the IB Portfolio being delivered in support of the Bank’s business strategies and objectivesIs this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Manages reviews of the IB Project Portfolio in terms of health, risks, issues and dependencies across all IB countries
- Manages the delivery of the portfolio prioritization methodology by:
- Assessing opportunity areas
- Conducting reviews to prioritize the portfolio based on alignment to the Bank’s strategic priorities and stakeholder requirements
- Supports the implementation and management of portfolio management methodologies by:
- Promoting skill development for stakeholders to keep the integrity of the PMO Framework
- Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison with leaders and teams across Enterprise Governance, Enterprise Strategy and Local/Country’s Portfolio Management Offices, as well as Delivery/Project Managers
- Actively identifies and addresses change requirements for processes and initiatives to improve IB’s business performance and portfolio governance
- Manages the maintenance and deployment of portfolio management tool (CA PPM) and processes to provide a reliable, controlled environment for project and portfolio reporting, including
- Leading internal operational processes required for portfolio integrity (e.g., meta data and financials)
- Directly contributing to the production of monthly/quarterly portfolio reporting in various formats (e.g. BI, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Supports and encourages a customer focused culture across the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Ensuring adherence to IB PMO and Enterprise minimum governance standards
- Develops day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout the team
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Project management and operational expertise
- 3+ years of experience in Project management, Banking experience preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Exceptional organization and project management skills, with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal for interacting with offices with varying cross cultural and language differences
- Advanced leadership skills in Building Strategic Relationships and Customer Focus
- Desire to work in a hands-on team environment
- Experience in CA PPM tool
- Spanish language fluency is an asset
