This is a EU Regional role working across the Hospital innovation portfolio and priority countries across Europe. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of hospital-based care, a passion for scientific communication, and a keen interest in leveraging technology and behavioural science to drive impactful content development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create high-quality scientific materials that support our products and therapeutic areas.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and the Senior Manager, Scientific Content and Behavioural Engagement Writer role will make an impact through the following responsibilities:

• Develop scientifically accurate content, including value propositions, key messages, clinical reports, and materials, to effectively communicate therapy benefits and drive behavior change in healthcare professionals and patients.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of hospital environments to craft tailored communication strategies for healthcare professionals, including clinicians, nurses, and decision-makers.
• Incorporate principles of behavioural science into content creation to enhance audience engagement, comprehension, and retention.
• Collaborate with teams to explore and implement innovative technologies (e.g., AI tools, data visualization platforms) to improve the efficiency and impact of scientific writing processes.
• Work closely with clinical, regulatory, marketing, and medical affairs teams to align on messaging and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and stay updated on the latest research, trends, and developments in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines, including GPP (Good Publication Practices), ICMJE, and company-specific policies.

About Your Skills & ExperienceFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc preferred).
• Proven experience in scientific writing, particularly within hospital settings.
• Familiarity with behavioural science concepts and their application to scientific communication.
• Comfort with using and adopting new technologies to enhance work processes (e.g., medical writing software, AI tools, or data visualization platforms).
• Strong understanding of clinical research, regulatory requirements, and medical terminology.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible, engaging, and audience-appropriate materials.
