Requisition ID: 208900Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.Purpose:As a member of Scotia Global Asset Management’s (Scotia GAM) Product Management and Innovation team, the Senior Manager, Tangerine Funds will be responsible for providing ongoing product management and development support to Tangerine investment funds.Drawing on your knowledge of investment funds and digital-led advice as well as experience developing timely investment content, the Senior Manager will help shape the design and development of innovative, client-centric solutions for Tangerine as well as an ecosystem of engaging client and advisor-focused investment support.
The Senior Manager will work closely with Tangerine distribution partners and other subject matter experts to ensure new and existing products fully align with Tangerine’s unique value proposition and growth strategy.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Product Management: working with the Director, Product Solutions, formulate contextual, accurate, and timely product commentary, portfolio manager insights and investing insights for Tangerine’s investment solutions. Align the delivery of support to Tangerine’s digitally led advice model and focused client segments.
  • Product Development: working with the Director, Product Development, manage the end-to-end documentation for new product launches and enhancements (business case through approvals), in accordance with Scotia GAM’s product policy, ensuring compliance from a regulatory, taxation and operational perspective. Coordinate resources with key internal functions to ensure solutions are well-built, well-managed and well-priced.
  • Product Design: working with the Director, Product Development, the Director Product Solutions, and Tangerine channel partners, design and prioritize a product roadmap for Tangerine to meet the needs of existing and target client segments and to support growth in assets under management
  • Market Intelligence: use your knowledge of the competitive environment, industry trends and market dynamics to help shape product strategy, inform features and influence support for new and existing solutions.
  • Client communication: act as a content resource for Marketing partners in the production of client-facing publications and campaigns, ensuring competitive positioning and compositional accuracy of programs.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Enrolment in/completion of the CFA or CIM considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years Asset Management industry experience, with relevant product development and product management experience
