We are in search of a Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry based in Toronto, Ontario. This role offers contract employment opportunity. You will be responsible for managing the full cycle payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all transactions.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of end-to-end payroll operational requirements including payroll journal entries, payroll remittances, and filings.
• Ensuring processing of payroll for over 2500 employees.
• Ensure all payroll transactions are in compliance with company policies.
• Handle payroll reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Oversee execution of payroll in a unionized environment.
• Work with PeopleSoft system for payroll operations.
• Manage commissioning payroll, ensuring proper calculation and distribution.
• Maintain a proactive approach to resolving customer inquiries.
• Ensure accurate customer credit records and take appropriate actions when needed.
• Foster excellent communication and customer service within the team.

• Proven experience in a Payroll processing role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry
• Proficiency in Canadian Payroll practices and regulations
• Expertise in managing unionized payroll processes
• Demonstrated ability in compensation management, including commissions
• Proficiency in using PeopleSoft for payroll and HR functions
• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, benefits administration, and compliance regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
