Introduction
This is a unique opportunity to join highly skilled and committed economics and policy team
working for nature positive improvements across the economy. You will lead the work on policy
that can help businesses reduce their impacts on nature and help deliver a critical aspect of
the change needed for the transition to a nature positive economy. This is an important role
that works across teams in the RSPB on a rapidly changing policy area.
What’s the role about?
As a key member of the Nature Positive Economy team you will work across the team to develop
our position on key aspects of nature positive economic policy. You will be expected to
advocate for how business tools and metrics like the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial
Disclosures and financial reporting standards can be developed further and work together to
deliver business change. You will take over management of an internal project reviewing our
principles for and expectations of businesses that we partner with and be expected to
coordinate and facilitate discussion with RSPB colleagues on horizon scanning risks for the
organisation.

This is a Fixed-Term role for 12 months and 37.5 hours per week.
The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further
advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
