We are a forward-thinking UK company at the forefront of the environmental and construction sector, and we have an opportunity for a Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant to join our growing team.
The role
As we embark on our ambitious growth journey, we are looking for a proactive, resilient individual to support the successful delivery of our client’s projects, such as the Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) project.
As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role supporting the post planning consent and construction phases. The role will include both office-based activities and site support, which will evolve as the project progresses. You’ll have a weekly presence on site, providing site based environmental auditing and assurance services. This dual-role position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience to promote compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.

About you
Experience: 4 years’ proven experience in a similar multi-environmental disciplinary role with project management and onsite construction phase support experience.
Skills: Great interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to persuade and build strong client relationships. Able to communicate complex environmental issues in a clear and concise manner.
Knowledge: A clear understanding of the environmental and construction sector. Familiarity with offshore/marine planning elements desirable.
Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and happy to work flexibly.
Commitment: Ready to successfully deliver outstanding support to enable our client to achieve their goals.
Certification: A relevant CSCS card and a full UK driving license.
