This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.
Your Mission
As a (Senior) Product Designer at YAZIO, you will:
- Design visually stunning, user-centered experiences for mobile applications that align with our goals of enhancing engagement and retention.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless handoffs and bringing design concepts to life.
- Embrace an MVP-driven, iterative approach, balancing quick value delivery with continuous improvement based on user feedback.
- Conduct user research to deeply understand user motivations, behaviors and needs, crafting designs that minimize cognitive load and improve usability.
- Contribute to our evolving design system, which is currently in the scoping phase, to establish consistency and scalability as we grow.
Your Profile
We’re looking for a (Senior) Product Designer with:
- 3+ years of product design experience with a focus on mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping and usability testing tools like Maze, Dovetail and Lookback.
- Strong expertise in user research and usability testing—you should be adept at using data to inform your designs and comfortable conducting research to refine concepts.
- A portfolio that showcases user-centered designs and highlights impactful, research-driven projects.
- Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines.
- Proven experience in preparing projects for developer handoff, ensuring design fidelity across different platforms.
- A growth mindset, with an interest in mentoring junior designers and contributing to our design knowledge base.
