We are committed to solving the world’s biggest challenges in the areas of water, energy and urbanization.Who we are looking for?GHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Future Energy and Waste Resources in Ontario to support successful delivery of Waste/ Wastewater and Renewable Energy projects.As a Project Manager, you will lead project teams delivering technical services relating to Future Energy and Waste related projects. Further, you will have the opportunity to lead our project teams in sophisticated and innovative projects and support in the training and mentorship of engineers and other technicians.We are seeking self-motivated and active networkers who value building credible relationships with clients and the community.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Manage key large, multi-disciplinary and complex waste, wastewater, and renewable energy projects. Support key technical aspects (process, waste, wastewater, renewable natural gas and/or renewables) through project delivery.
  • Contribute to the strategy for development of renewable energy projects in the waste, wastewater, and renewable energy industries, including renewable natural gas, conventional and emerging renewables, and other applicable technologies, also including emerging markets such as hydrogen.
  • Position for and support major waste, wastewater, and renewable energy projects across the Americas, with emphasis on Ontario. Effectively communicate and connect with existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop and support Client relationship management as part of key pursuits.
  • Join the Future Energy Ambassador network and input into the connected network across the Americas, with insight into carbon capture, renewables, hydrogen, and biofuels, as well as emerging fronts.
  • Work in the solid waste group and maintain regular communication with other business groups through a renewable energy lens.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Passionate about a low-carbon future and the ability to engage in energy transition, taking advantage of the many opportunities for transformation in the waste, wastewater, and renewable energy industries
  • Engineer with a P.Eng. in ON
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • More than 10 years of experience in the waste, wastewater and/or renewable energy industries
  • Knowledge of waste, wastewater and/or renewable energy industries along with current technologies and regulations will be an asset
  • Knowledge of the Ontario regulatory framework an asset
  • Ability to work remotely across the Americas an asset
  • Valid license with driving record in good standing
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
