Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This opportunity is based out of our Ottawa, ON office with opportunities for hybrid and remote work.
Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree in Engineering or other related discipline of study + eight (8) years of relevant experience as a Project Manager on large infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
- Building and Rail (maintenance facilities and stations) experience preferred.
Experience and Ability to:

Define and organize the project scope, work breakdown structure, and design sequencing.

Develop a schedule based on available resources.

Oversee the integration and delivery of co-located teams.

Manage the delivery of projects from global design centers.

Track performance and resolve issues effectively.

Lead and document design coordination efforts.
-
Organize and conduct technical presentations.
-
Facilitate value management and constructability workshops.
-
Monitor and report on project delivery schedules.

Oversee and report on budget management.
-
Implement early warning systems for change management.
-
Manage interfaces and requirements.
-
Handle internal and external stakeholder relations.
-
Conduct risk management activities.
-
Ensure adherence to ISO Quality and Integrated Management Systems.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $125,000.00 – $180,000.00.
