Apply now for the following position: Senior Project Manager Product Improvement.Overview: As the Senior Project Manager Product Improvement you will be play a key role in executing Product Failure Analysis and Product Improvement projects contributing to our overall and Product Reliability strategy Reporting to the Director Sustaining Engineering, this role is integral to achieving our must-win priority of delivering an optimum customer experience by enhancing product reliability.What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage product improvement projects according to Sonova’s PLE (Post-Launch Engineering) process
  • Lead and manage analysis of product field issues according to Sonova’s Product Failure Analysis process
  • Responsible for development and deployment of custom in-ear hearing instrument improvement actions that result in significant repair rate reductions year-over-year
  • Support development and continuous improvement of PLE and Product Failure Analysis processes
  • Support on the execution (e.g. daily management), continuous improvement, and monitoring of these processes
  • Ensure the timely deployment of product change actions to avoid manufacturing and supply chain disruptions
  • Execute and document product changes following our Change Control process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address product reliability improvement opportunities
  • Act as NC and CAPA owner according to the respective SOPs

What you bring to the team:

  • University degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of work experience with a combination of product improvement, project management, manufacturing of medical devices, and product quality/reliability
  • Experience with different problem-solving methods
  • Collaborative, goal-oriented, transformation and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Fitting software; Sales Force experience is a plus
