Senior Project Manager Water & Wastewater -Linear
Location: Mississauga Ontario
Salary: $130,000-$190,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Project and client management responsibility for a variety of linear infrastructure projects including water and wastewater pumping stations, new water distribution and collection mains, and new water mains and renewal of existing sewer collection systems.
• Oversee project resources, schedules, budget, quality management and risk assessment.
• Actively participate with the preparation of proposals, project reports, design documents, and permit applications.
• Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, approval authorities, project stakeholders and contractors.
• Supporting construction inspectors in the field and contract administrators in the office in dealing with and adapting to unexpected challenges encountered during construction.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for future projects.
• Mentoring and assisting in the development of junior staff.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.)
• Minimum 10 years of experience with municipal linear infrastructure design and project management in Ontario.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients, stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Experience in planning, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction administration associated with Water and/or Wastewater infrastructure.
• Have a track record of gaining approval of infrastructure designs from approval authorities and environmental agencies.
• Skilled in cost estimating and specification writing.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with MS Office MS Word and MS Project
• Experience with Auto Cad, MicroStation or Civil 3D
