Keen to invest more in their innovation platform, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior R&D Engineer to augment this up-front engineering team.The Role
The Senior R&D Engineer will be responsible for uncovering customer needs through thorough discovery research and leveraging of their technical expertise to develop innovative solutions and concepts that address these identified needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of product innovation and contribute significantly to the growth and success of the business across the entire EMEA region, ensuring that technical innovation initiatives and research efforts are aligned with regional market needs and preferences while maintaining consistency with the global R&D objectives.The Person
Bringing a wealth of research and development experience and an analytical mindset, the senior R&D Engineer will ideally have a Masters or PhD level Engineering qualification and proven experience in conducting customer discovery, and customer needs analysis within a product development or innovation context. A strong technical background with expertise in conceptualising, designing, and prototyping mechanical or electro-mechanical systems would be highly advantageous as would experience in the use of CAD software to create concept designs. A strong mix of analytical skills and concept design and development will be key for the success of this role.How to Apply
