You’ll be working with a best-in-class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to build excellent products that make a difference on one of the world’s most trafficked and loved websites.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of React Native development experience working with high-velocity teams. They want to work with the best, and they’d love for you to join them.What you will accomplish:
– Lead the development of React Native applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
– Architect robust mobile solutions that can handle the demands of a rapidly growing user base using React Native
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a user-centric approach
– Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization, setting standards for the team to follow
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the mobile development domain
– Stay ascertain of the latest React Native updates and industry trends, applying standard methodologies to our development processes
– Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality
– Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to cultivate their growth and ensure team skill enhancementWhat you will bring:
– Proven experience as a Staff Engineer and strong proficiency in the React Native framework
– Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript and deep understanding of React Native and its core principles
– Experience in building mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
– Solid knowledge of mobile app development processes and lifecycles
– Experience with common development tools such as Node, Yarn, NPM, etc.
– Consistent track record of crafting and integrating with APIs and understanding the flow of data
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Strong communication and leadership skills, leading projects to successful completion
– Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
– •Experience in fixing accessibility issues is a plus
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with 12+ years of experience or MS with 10+ years of experience
