Senior Research Fellow

The Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research (ASR) is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated individual for a Senior Research Fellow post to manage a newly funded research project exploring digital exclusion in older people. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading research centre in an exciting role to implement high quality health and social care research addressing the needs of an ageing population.

Working with internationally renowned experts and in a cohesive team, the post holder will take a leading role in overseeing the delivery of the research project. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of this work. The post holder will be involved in setting up the research project and will assume day-to-day responsibility for project management activities. The post holder will support the delivery of qualitative elements of the project (conducting interviews and running workshops as required).

Other responsibilities will include literature review, public engagement activities, data management and analysis, and providing regular progress reports.

Our research is implemented locally and nationally, so travel to other sites will be essential.
