Job Description:Grade UE08: £49,559 to £60,907 per annumDeanery of Clinical Sciences / CMVMFull time: 35 hours per weekFixed term: for 2 yearsThe Opportunity:We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow with expertise in statistics/data science/epidemiology to join our child and adolescent psychiatry research team to help drive new innovation in the prediction and prevention of severe mental illness.This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.The salary for this post is UE08.Your skills and attributes for success:

• PhD in relevant area, such as psychiatric epidemiology or closely aligned fields
• Minimum relevant postdoctoral experience in psychiatric epidemiology or closely aligned fields.
• Training or experience in pharmacoepidemiology, emulated target trial research.
• Experience analysing national register data
• Experience in casual inference research methods

The Deanery can be found at the Bioquarter Campus (Queen’s Medical Research Institute, Chancellor’s Building, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People), the Lauriston Building, Lauriston Place, the Western General Hospital and the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
