Working together, we identify the key health and care problems facing organisations in our partnership, design innovative research in response, and rapidly put findings into practice across our region and beyond.Islington council is an ARC NT Partner organisation and the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC), working to develop new and existing research evidence to inform decision making for the council.About the roleWe are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join the collaborative team, working with both our and our partners at Islington HDRC.The aim of the post is to conduct substantial population health and / or health services research, including activities addressing public health, health and care services, wider determinants of health and / or health inequalities.The post-holder will be involved in all stages of research from design through to dissemination and implementation, including leading and supporting grant applications to prestigious funders.This is a fixed term role until 31 March 2026, in the first instance.About youThe postholder will have a relevant PhD (or equivalent experience) and expertise in evaluation of population health and/or health services contexts using quantitative or mixed (quantitative and qualitative) research methods.The post-holder will engage with a range of academic and non-academic stakeholders to strengthen and expand our partnership, and to identify and progress new funding and research opportunities.
