Job description
We are excited to be working with an innovative, and industry leading biotechnology company, based in Oxford, in a brand new, state-of-the-art laboratory. They are recruiting for a Senior Scientist, to join their expert team, helping to lead the next stage of a business critical development in the lab.We are seeking an experienced Scientist to work within a small team of scientists to deliver a potentially ground breaking product.Requirements
- At least 2 years postdoctoral experience or equivalent in the field of diagnostics ideally involving CNS disorders.
- PhD in a biomedical discipline (e.g. molecular biology or biochemistry).
- Practical experience of assay development in an industrial or product development environment.
- Experience with immunoassay/ligand binding assays: ELISA, biosensor technology, LTF, aptamers.
- Ability to use initiative and creativity to identify new experimental directions, developing new research methods and extending the research portfolio.
- Right to work in UK.
Desirable
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in AD biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical translation.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical diagnostics.
- Proficiency in applying statistical analysis and data interpretation methods to biomarker discovery and validation studies.
- Experience working with clinical samples.
