In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality software solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software applications using best practices and industry standards. Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and documentation practices.Write non-application code, such as infrastructure as code, unit tests, metrics, monitoring, alarms, etc., to ensure reliability and maintainability.Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Participate in on-call rotations to support and debug customer-reported issues as well as internally created service incidents.Take time for learning and continuous improvement, building your skills and exploring interests beyond current work tasks.Qualifications:Atleast four years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Go, TypeScript, and JavaScript.Demonstrated expertise in complex application development, debugging, analysis, and optimization.Experience with large-scale, resilient microservice and event-driven architectures, REST APIs.Atleast two year of experience building scalable, performant applications in cloud native environments. AWS, Azure, GCP experience is highly desirable.Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for keeping up with industry trends and technologies.No sponsorship will be provided for work permit applications or renewals for this position.#LI-EC1 #LI-HybridAt Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world.
