The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end sourcing activities for high complexity deals and where appropriate, provide support to the Director or AVP on confidential and highly strategic initiatives.Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight on the procurement plan for their assigned Business Unit(s) to meet Business objectives and savings targets
- Category/Supplier Strategy to identify opportunities for savings by conducting market research and spend analytics to support sourcing strategies, while driving continuous improvement
- Strategic Sourcing through interaction and collaboration with assigned Business Unit(s) to lead competitive selection processes and provide advisory support
- Contract Development & Management including negotiation of terms, finalizing the contract package for execution and coaching on contract compliance
- Third-Party Risk Management at the category/supplier/engagement level and collaborating with risk stakeholders to assist with developing appropriate mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in business or finance
- Minimum 5 years experience in a financial environment and good understanding of wealth and asset management operations with exposure to mortgages, banking and insurance products
- Experience in managing the end-to-end RFx process and deal teams
- Skilled in contract negotiations supporting financial services categories such as Advisor services, fund operations, industry subscriptions and wealth product management
- Ability to manage senior to executive level stakeholders
