This is an exciting opportunity within the RSPB’s Global Species Recovery team which will embed and deliver the RSPB’s species conservation approach within our programmes of work on the East Atlantic Flyway and within priority conservation programmes and projects in Africa and Asia.
The exact set of projects and priority species being worked on will change and develop over time. Species Recovery projects are delivered by a range of teams within the RSPB. Many also involve working with external partners. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external. Initially the postholder will focus on several workstreams.
So, if you have a passion for species conservation, conservation delivery through partnership working, and want to help ensure RSPB continues its impressive history of recovering some of the most threatened species, then this job is for you!
This is a full-time, permanent role for 37.5 hours per week but flexible working may be considered.
International travel will form part of this role, as and when required, to support species recovery project development and delivery in Europe, Africa and Asia.

As part of this application process you will be asked to provide a copy of your CV and complete an application form including evidence on how you meet the skills, knowledge, and experience listed above.
