We are now looking for a Senior System Software Engineer for our Robotics Simulation Team!™ is a cutting-edge robotics simulation platform that empowers researchers and engineers to accelerate the development and deployment of intelligent robots. Leveraging the power of NVIDIA’s AI and GPU technologies, Isaac Sim offers a realistic and scalable environment for training, validating, and optimizing robots for real-world scenarios.What you’ll be doing:Building and integrating tools to configure, simulate, and test robotsDevelop user interfaces and interactive extensions for asset configurationWorking with asset import and export pipelines using industry standard formatsInterfacing with customer and UI/UX teams to develop workflows for roboticsWhat we need to see:BS, MS, PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Simulation, or related field3+ years of experience in systems software engineeringExcellent C, C++, and Python programming skillsFlexibility to adapt quickly to varying roles & responsibilitiesExperience with physics simulation, robotics or motion planning & controlsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams, principles, and architects across organizational boundaries and geographiesWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with Isaac Sim, Omniverse, USD, MJCF, URDF, CAD formatsExperience with physical robots, reinforcement learning, synthetic data generationExperience with UI/UX for user and developer facing toolsBackground with shipping and supporting software productsExperience with system level optimization using multi-threading, asynchronous programming, concurrency and parallelismNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry’s most desirable employers.
