PURPOSE OF EMPLOYMENTThe SEO Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, follow-up and optimization of online referencing for the three (3) banners of the company La Vie en Rose (la Vie en Rose, Bikini Village and Newex).JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of our sites in the SERPs.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
  • Work closely with the e-Commerce and Merchandising teams as well as the SEA campaign specialist to optimize performance with a view to increasing organic traffic;
  • Develop and implement local SEO strategies using platforms such as Google My Business or Bing Place.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush; Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
  • Work in collaboration with the copywriting team for the creation of SEO-oriented content and programming;
  • Work in collaboration with the Web team in the development of tree structures, wireframes and call-to-actions for an effective user experience (UX) (completion of customer objectives by the user).
  • Develop and implement machine learning (AI)-based optimization strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Specialized Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce or Marketing or relevant experience in a related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO;
  • Bilingualism – spoken and written (The person will have to do SEO research for the Canadian and American market);
  • High level of creativity;
  • Advanced knowledge of the following tools:
  • Google Analytics (Certification obtained – Asset)
  • Google Search Console
  • Ahrefs
  • SEMRush
  • Screaming Frog
  • GTMetrix
  • Google Merchant Center
  • Google Keyword Planner
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Be proactive and proactive;
  • Organized, able to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Problem-solving oriented;
  • Be on the lookout for the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
