Job Description:Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS) helps customers to maximize their investments in Oracle Cloud, Database, Applications, and Hardware products including Engineered Systems. CSS assists clients to transforming and evolving their business by leveraging our network of Cloud Data Centers, technical and functional specialists, leaders, engineers and services infrastructure. As part of an entrepreneurial team, you will help shape the future of businesses using Oracle technology with Cloud at Customer, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. CSS enables Oracle’s client’s journey to the Cloud while preserving their existing investment. Oracle Services provide technical and functional expertise to customers which includes: Systems Optimization, Expert Support, Transition Support, Mission Critical Support, Managed Application and Help Desk, Managed Database and Platform as well as Security Support Services on Customer Premises, Private Cloud, Cloud at Customer or Public Cloud.As a CSS Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a sales team that introduces our broad services portfolio into the Commercial market segment. You will handle complex customer and stakeholder relationships while leveraging strong communication skills to align your team with the broader Oracle product teams. You will assist, and coach, your team in the development of account penetration strategies, and closing business. You will understand Oracle’s service offerings and the competitive landscape. And finally, you will identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory sales strategies.Oracle Customer Success Services is a One Oracle approach to ensuring our customer success, through a broad set of services and solutions that are supported by certified and experienced professionals, helping to accelerate the entire customer journey. Responsibilities:Manages sales of the organization’s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts). Group is responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment or channel. Incumbents at the Manager level may manage only individual contributor sales account managers and may carry their own sales quota. The incumbent’s level may be determined by the size of the geographic area of responsibility (e.g., region vs. district vs. branch), the size or significance of the industry or product segment for which the incumbent is responsible, or other factors.Qualifications: Incumbents at the Manager level should manage 2 or more individual contributors (Services Sales Reps) and may carry their own quota. Manager may be responsible for attaining sales objectives on branch/area basis. Responsible for a very limited territory/industry/product line. First line management position. Ensures that operational policies are followed. Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Responsible for business results, costs, and people management. Manages tasks and projects, as defined by senior management, to meet business targets. Manages subordinates to meet business targets and best practice solutions as set by higher management.
