Sessional Lecturer, Indigenous Studies (La Ronge)The Department of Indigenous Studies in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following off-campus courses during the following session(s):2024-2025 Regular Session
Course Number, Section, and Name: INDG 270.6 (C41 et al.) Literature of Native North America
Term and Course Dates: Terms 1 and 2 (September 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025)
CRN: 25848 et al.
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a hybrid Lecture.
Course Schedule: Actual course days/times Monday 9:00 AM to 11:50 AM.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 40
Location: Northlands College; La Ronge, SK
Qualifications: Completion of a graduate degree, PhD preferred, in Indigenous Studies or related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. This is a concurrent appointment. Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students. This is a concurrent appointment.A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.Application Process:
