The objectives of the course are to: (1) provide a broad, introductory overview of postsecondary education as a field of scholarly inquiry and research; (2) examine the major issues of a recurring nature which have confronted postsecondary education, albeit in different forms and contexts, over time and in different jurisdictions; and (3) introduce students to some of the most important writings in the field.Estimated course enrolment: 25 studentsEstimated TA support: NoClass schedule (Lectures):TWO positionsSection 0101 – Mondays 17:30-20:30Section 0103 – Tuesdays 17:30-20:30Sessional dates of appointment: September 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024Salary:Pay for half course, vacation pay included:Sessional Lecturer I: $9,182.42

Sessional Lecturer III: $10,060.93
Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $10,262.15Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum qualifications:Candidates must hold a doctorate in Higher Education or a related field; have a demonstrated record of scholarship in the field of Higher Education and the subject area of the course;
