We will use a multidisciplinary approach to examine the historical, philosophical, legal, and cultural foundations of student affairs and services work. From these multiple perspectives, we will discuss the guiding principles from which student affairs and services practitioners educate and deliver services and programs to students.Estimated course enrolment: 25 studentsEstimated TA support: NoClass schedule (Lectures): Thursday 17:00 – 20:00Sessional dates of appointment: September 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024Salary:Pay for half course, vacation pay included:Sessional Lecturer I: $9,182.42
Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $9,641.55
Sessional Lecturer II: $9,826.96
Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,025.84
Sessional Lecturer III: $10,060.93
Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $10,262.15Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum qualifications:Candidates must hold a doctorate in Higher Education or a related field; have a demonstrated record of scholarship in the field of Higher Education and the subject area of the course;
