Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto)Description:This seminar will explore the topics of subjectivity, land, and property within an intradisciplinary theoretical framework. Drawing from architectural and art theory, urban studies, geography, philosophy, political economic theory, this course will grapple with the lineages of contemporary theory, beginning with modern conceptions of subjectivity, and how the self-possessive individual is based on a racial and gendered construct.Class Schedule:Monday 12:00pm – 3:00pmSessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2025 – April 30, 2025Estimated Enrollment: Approx. 16 students per sectionSalary:Sessional Lecturer I – $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term – $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II – $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term – $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III – $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term – $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum Qualifications: M.Arch degree or other Graduate degree in Architecture preferred. We are seeking applicants with a proven record of teaching foundation design studios at the M.
