Students will explore the characteristic relationships that have grown up over the years between the distinctive topography of the city; the early patterns of its settlement, and the evolution over time of its successive infrastructures, including railways, port facilities, expressways, transit lines and underground walkway systems.Class Schedule:L0101 – Friday 9:00am – 12:00pmSessional dates of appointment: September 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024Estimate of the course enrolment: Approximately 16 students per sectionSalary: Sessional Lecturer I – $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term – $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II – $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term – $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III – $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term – $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Architecture, History, and/or EnglishPreferred Qualifications: Proven record in publishing, writing, and/or research on Urban Design and/or Urbanism.Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.Application Submission: To apply, please complete the Daniels and submit a curriculum vitae to the Daniels Selection Committee at .Closing Date: 06/26/2024, 11:59PM EDT
