Topics covered include descriptive statistics, limit theorems, sampling distribution, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, contingency tables and count data, simple linear regression. A statistical computer package will be used.Estimated course enrolment: 120Number of positions: 1TA support: 50 hours per 35 students enrolled per semesterSessional dates of appointment: July 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025Salary: $15,000 per one half-course.Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Statistics, completed or nearly complete. Exceptional candidates with a Masters in Statistics will be considered. Advanced comprehension of the subject matter as evidenced by research activity and/or advanced teaching experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching preferred.
