Topics covered include finite dimensional distributions and the existence theorem, discrete time Markov chains, discrete time martingales, the multivariate normal distribution, Gaussian processes and Brownian motion.Lecture Section: LEC01: MON 12-1pm/WED 12-2pm.Course Enrollment (est.): 145Number of Positions (est.): OneQualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Statistics course at the 3rd-year university level or higher (required). Previous teaching experience as the instructor for STAC62H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable).Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course.Estimated TA Support (Hours): Grading support provided.Sessional dates of appointment: Sept 3 – Dec 31, 2024Salary:Sessional Lecturer I $9,457.90
