Ville St LaurentNow, if you were to come on board as our Soft Services Facilities Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

• Safety Management: implement a safety culture according to Compass and client policies and procedures while following codes and regulations. Ensure site safety compliance and conduct monthly safety audits. Provide safety updates and information on site conditions to direct reports and contractors.

• Business Acumen: Manage budgetary needs, monitor expenditure, and take corrective action when needed. Ensure cost-effective delivery of soft services, including cleaning, security, waste management, catering, site ground and workwear management.

• Client and contract Management: Execute the facilities’ contract compliance and KPIs per the contracts. Develop a solid communication link with the ESFM team and the client. Compile necessary information for monthly client update meetings. Lead Quarterly Business Review meetings and update the agenda. Review and submit reports for any impact on service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Facilities Management: Supervise and ensure the delivery of high-quality soft services. Provide leadership and consultancy for service quality and efficiency improvements.

• Contractor selection and Governance: Procurement of subcontractor services, schedules, and performance management of the contractors. Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and monitor service delivery effectiveness.

• Team building and management: Supervise team, including hiring, payroll, delegating assignments, scheduling, training, coaching, monitoring, and evaluating performance. Lead the Career Development Plan for the team members. Provide technical guidance and assist in troubleshooting service-related issues as a subject matter expert.

• Other responsibilities as assigned by the management.

• GMP experience an asset.

• Proven experience (more than 5 years) in managing soft services, contract governance, and compliance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting, with education in a related field.
• Proven team management and leadership skills.
