Job Type: PermanentWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Manager to lead a development team and drive the evolution of the client’s core digital platforms. Under the guidance of the Director, you will oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of the client’s e-commerce solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business units to implement feature enhancements and maintain web and mobile platforms.Key Responsibilities:– Develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s application portfolio, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
– Lead the technical design and architecture of key components, setting high standards for the team.
– Align your team’s vision with the client’s strategic goals and operational priorities.
– Translate project objectives and product strategies into detailed technical plans.
– Utilize industry insights and your professional experience to enhance software solutions and operational processes.
– Provide strategic leadership and hands-on support to the development team, ensuring project milestones are met.
– Mentor and develop team members through technical workshops, code reviews, and collaborative programming.
– Serve as a key technical resource for resolving high-priority production issues.
– Collaborate closely with business and product teams to ensure the successful launch of key features.
– Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to understand their goals and challenges.
– Perform comprehensive performance evaluations, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications:– 7+ years of experience in the systems development life cycle, software engineering, and delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions.
– Extensive experience with Magento is a must.
– Expertise in collaborating with third-party providers for seamless platform integrations.
– At least 2 years’ experience in agile scrum environments.
– Proven mentorship skills, with a history of developing software engineers.
– Strong beliefs in what makes great software, while being open to new ideas and methodologies.
– Skilled in software estimation and managing project uncertainties.
– Data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in analytics tools.
– Experience in digital product management and development, from conception to launch.
– Proven ability to develop large-scale applications in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
– Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
– Proficiency in Agile technical practices and staying updated with industry trends.
– Ideally Hands-on experience with technologies such as Adobe Commerce, AEM, ReactJS, React Native, Kotlin, Swift, Python, GraphQL, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
