Special Educational Needs TeacherLocation: East LondonSalary: £180 – £270 per day (depending on experience)Job Type: Full-TimeStart Date: SeptemberJob Description:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a local SEND school in East London. The successful candidate will have a genuine commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and will play a key role in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs). You will work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that all students receive the highest quality education tailored to their specific needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
• Assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support students’ learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and report to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEND education.
• Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with students with SEND in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Expected salary

£270 per day
