Customer Service Coordinator

Non-Exempt Salaried Position

Standard Motor Products-Independence, KS has an immediate opening to join our Customer Service Team. This individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Customer account management
  • Enter purchase orders and follow through to delivery
  • Access and manage customer online portals
  • Process Electronic Data Interchange customer orders
  • Understand and analyze customer scorecard metrics
  • Communicate with customers and all levels of SMP management
  • Prepare customer returns and debit/credit documentation
  • Prepare Customs documentation

Experience/Education:

  • Business or related Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing customer service or planning environment.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a professional manner
