We have a exciting opportunity for a Band 6 dietitian to join the acute adult surgical dietetic team at University Hospital Southampton.  This post specialises in dietetic management of patients post colorectal surgery and is a key member of the MDT providing nutrition support and advice on high output stoma management.

The post covers inpatients and a weekly outpatient clinic. You will work alongside an established team of acute surgical dietitians covering upper GI, hepatobiliary, intestinal failure and general surgery. The surgical dietetic team is part of a large friendly acute adult dietetic service based at Southampton General.

The colorectal surgery service at UHS comprises of 11 consultants, four specialist registrars and three colorectal specialist nurses together with a large supporting multidisciplinary team. Nutrition forms a key component of the colorectal enhanced recovery pathway and you will play a key role in optimising the recovery of this patient group.
